Memorial Eye Center - Oak Forest

I went to this office because of the good reviews on Google and because a neighbor had recommended it. I live in oak Forest and had never noticed that this was located across the street from the Krogers I go to. Since I have a newborn, it was easy to leave home and go to the office quickly. From the moment I got to the office I was greeted professionally and received a packet that was transparent about prices. Even with my baby crying I felt comfortable nursing. My baby in the waiting room and the staff were kind. Jasmine took me to the back room and watched me through a series of exams and used the various machines to scan my eyes. She prepared me and answered any questions about each of the testing processes. She was very cordial and professional. Then I saw Dr. Turner. She was also very thorough and understanding to let me take my time if the baby cried or needed a diaper change during the exam. She answered any questions and thoroughly explained my retinal scans. When I was done. I wasn't pressured into buying glasses. My prescription hadn't changed in the past 1 to 2 years. Roberto, help check me out and I was pleased that the price was exactly what I expected and very reasonable. Roberto asked what I would like to do for glasses and left it at that. No sales pitch. Just a question and then he made sure that I was comfortable and I could easily get to my car from the office with my baby in tow. I'll definitely come back to this office again in the future. Dr. Turner and her team are top-notch! They were relaxed, professional, and knowledgeable; I felt very comfortable. The long wait made it a slightly negative experience. As an MA, I understand running behind. However, I selected the first visit of the day, not realizing my appointment was scheduled before clinic started. Although I arrived nearly 30 minutes early, I checked in late and received a text to reschedule. I got to keep my appointment, but I’d recommend removing any visits outside of your business hours. And perhaps the first spots should be reserved for existing patients who don’t have to fill out new patient paperwork. Even though I was there from opening to lunchtime, I was very happy with the care.

I have gone here for a few years. Great office staff. The eye doctor Megan was very, very detailed and provided a high level of care. I'd follow her to any clinic in Houston and am glad she has moved to this location. You can just tell she has a great heart and desire to help/serve others - that goes for the support staff too - from making an appointment, to checking in, to glasses fitting, to paying (not anyone's favorite part) and leaving. Highly recommend this location and look forward to my next visit (unlike the visit to the dentist where they always seem to find a cavity). PS I do recommend taking the Retinal Photos. Megan walked me through the findings and I have a doctor visit to schedule with my primary physician. It costs a little more, but they get a full snapshot of your whole eye AND you don't have to dilate your eyes. So glad I did that.

Best eye exam I’ve had in 30 years of getting my eyes checked. Everyone on staff is friendly, professional and super helpful. Great selection of frames and I’m so happy with my purchases.

The staff here is so pleasant and polite. After an unpleasant experience at the heights location the employees here were able to turn this incident around. Special shoutout to the practice manager Mariah who was able to add my secondary insurance on file. I will be switching to this location for my future eye exams.

Dr. Turner and the front staff are truly wonderful! My daughter is very shy, and I was a little nervous about how the exam would go. But Dr. Turner was so kind, patient, and thorough that she immediately felt comfortable. The whole visit was smooth and stress-free, and we were in and out quickly without ever feeling rushed. Even though I’ve moved, I still make the trip back to this office because the care and experience are worth it every time. Thank you so much for always taking such great care of us!

My mother she had a very great experience and treated a very nice really appreciated everyone there and all the staff and she loves her new glasses that she got and she said she can't wait to visit when it's time to get her refill the glasses maybe next year or so so God bless all y'all that works there at memorial eye Center oak Forest Thank you for helping Mom get her eyes right
